Burnout coach for business owners

About

I’m Rachael Baxter, an Alignment & Accountability Coach and founder of Next Identity.

I work with women over 40 who know they want more from themselves and their lives, but keep putting things off, doubting themselves or struggling to follow through.

Maybe the kids are getting older. Maybe life is finally giving you a little more space. Maybe you’ve reached a point where you’re asking yourself, What do I actually want now? What do I want to achieve for me?

You might already have the goal.

Change careers. Start the business. Improve your health. Finish the course. Build your confidence. Finally do something you’ve been talking about for years.

But knowing what you want and actually doing something about it are two different things.

You procrastinate. You overthink. You second-guess yourself. You wait until you feel more confident or until the timing feels right. And before you know it, the thing you said mattered to you is still sitting on the back burner.

That’s where I come in.

Through 1:1 Alignment & Accountability Coaching, I help you get clear on what you want, understand the beliefs, patterns and behaviours that are getting in the way, identify what needs to change, and create a practical path forward.

Then we work on becoming the person who actually takes the action — with the support, challenge and accountability to help you follow through.

Because the version of you who wants the goal also needs to become the version of you who actually goes after it.

My role isn’t to give you another pile of information.

It’s to help you move from knowing to doing — and build the confidence that comes from proving to yourself that you can.

Next Identity is an Australia-based online Alignment & Accountability Coaching business supporting women 40+ across Australia and globally.

Life changes. And sometimes, so do your priorities.

For years, there may have been very little room to think about what you wanted.

Kids. Work. Relationships. The house. Responsibilities. Everyone needing something from you.

You got on with it.

You adapted.

You did what needed to be done.

And now life may be starting to look a little different.

The kids are getting older. You might finally have a bit more space. And for the first time in a long time, you’re starting to ask yourself:

What do I actually want now?

Maybe you already know.

Maybe there’s a business you’ve wanted to start.
A career change you keep thinking about.
A course you want to finish.
A health goal you keep putting off.
Something you want to do purely because it matters to you.

But knowing what you want doesn’t automatically mean you’ll go after it.

You can still procrastinate.

You can still second-guess yourself.

You can still wait until you feel more confident.

You can still put everyone else first because that’s what you’ve practised doing for years.

And that’s where the real work begins.

Not fixing you.

Not becoming some completely different person.

But understanding what’s getting in the way, deciding where you want to go, and aligning your behaviour with the woman you need to become to actually get there.

That was a huge part of my own journey too.

I had to ask myself:

Who do I actually need to become?

The moment I realised identity creates results.

I realised I was not simply a product of my circumstances. I was also participating in creating my results through the way I thought, what I tolerated, what I believed, and how I was operating.

And if I could become aware of the identity creating my current results, I could consciously build the identity required to achieve the goals and life I wanted next.

That shift — from doing to becoming — is what Next Identity is built on.

It's something you can consciously change.

My background

Before founding Next Identity, I spent years working in Human Resources and people leadership, supporting people through change, performance, confidence, difficult decisions and the realities of work and life.

Over time, I noticed the same pattern again and again.

Capable people often knew what they wanted. They knew what they needed to do. But knowing didn’t always lead to action.

Self-doubt got in the way.
Confidence dropped.
Old patterns took over.
Important goals kept getting pushed back.
And people stayed in the same place for longer than they wanted to.

That’s what led me to deepen my work through Masters-level study in Coaching and NLP, with a focus on identity, beliefs, behaviour, alignment and accountability.

Because the real question often isn’t “What should I do?”

It’s “What’s stopping me from doing what I already know I need to do?”

What I do now

Through Next Identity, I work with women over 40 who know they want more from themselves and their lives, but keep putting things off, second-guessing themselves or struggling to follow through.

Together, we get clear on what you actually want, understand what’s getting in the way, identify what needs to change and create a practical path forward.

Then we work on aligning your behaviour with the woman you need to become — while I provide the support, challenge and accountability to help you actually take action and keep going.

My coaching is structured, practical and grounded in identity, beliefs, behaviour, confidence and accountability.

This isn’t therapy.

It isn’t motivational hype.

And it isn’t about giving you another pile of information.

It’s about helping you move from knowing to doing.

That last line is especially important because it connects straight back to the central problem in your current positioning: knowing versus doing.

My approach

I work directly, but with depth.

I will hold space for what is real, but I will not let you stay in stories that keep you stuck.

I believe people are capable of more than they often allow themselves to access — but lasting change does not come from trying harder, pretending, or performing.

It comes from understanding the identity underneath the behaviour.

Because when identity shifts, behaviour changes.

And when behaviour changes, results follow.

Who you are today does not have to determine what comes next.

Work with me

If you are ready to take ownership of where you are and step into what comes next, the next step is a conversation.
